Account Deletion Policy

This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of Beyond Nikah - Muslim Matrimony can request deletion of their account and associated data.

1. Eligibility For Account Deletion

Any registered user may request deletion of their account at any time.

2. Methods To Request Account Deletion

Users may delete their account using either of the following methods:

• Using the in-app “Delete Account” option available in profile settings.
• Sending an account deletion request to: support@beyondnikah.com

3. Information Required

To process account deletion requests, users may be asked to provide:

• Registered phone number
• Registered email address
• User UID or profile details
• Identity verification where necessary

4. Data Deleted

Upon successful deletion request, the following may be permanently removed:

• User profile information
• Photos uploaded by the user
• Profile preferences
• Feedback submissions
• Shortlists and profile interactions
• Blocked and reported user records linked to the account

5. Data Retention

Certain information may be retained temporarily for:

• Legal compliance
• Fraud prevention
• Payment dispute handling
• Security monitoring
• Regulatory obligations

Retained data will only be stored as long as reasonably necessary.

6. Subscription & Payments

Deleting an account does not automatically create a refund request. Membership fees and paid services are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Verification Documents

Identification documents submitted for profile verification may be securely removed after account deletion processing, subject to legal or security retention requirements. Our team manually reviews your submitted government-issued identity document and selfie to verify that they appear to belong to the same person. This is an identity review performed by our team and is not a government-issued or government-certified verification.

8. Processing Time

Account deletion requests are generally processed within 7 to 15 business days.

9. Re-registration

Users may create a new account in the future, subject to platform policies and moderation review.

10. Abuse Prevention

Accounts suspended for fraud, abuse, or policy violations may still have limited records retained internally for security and legal purposes.

11. Child Safety

Users under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from using the platform.
No profiles of minors are allowed.
Any suspected minor account will be removed.

Prohibited Content
No nudity or sexually explicit content.
No harassment or abuse.
No hate speech.
No scams or impersonation.
No solicitation or advertising.

Enforcement
Users can report inappropriate profiles.
Users can block unwanted users.
Reported profiles are reviewed.
Accounts violating policies may be suspended or permanently removed.

12. Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to courts located in Shrirampur, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.
